Heather Atchison

Ben and Heather met many moons ago on a creative business-writing workshop in the wet and windy Scottish Highlands. After six years of talking to Ben about words, work and much in between, Heather joined Afia as creative director.

Now she lends the skills she honed at one of London’s top communications agencies to everything we do. She steers our ship of writers and trainers, keeps the chat flowing with clients and makes sure our work is never anything less than top notch.

She’s worked on tone of voice and brand language with the likes of Virgin, O₂, eBay, Coca Cola, London Underground and Sotheby’s. And she’s lent a guiding hand to memorable communications projects with some of the UK’s most-loved brands such as the BBC, Habitat, Lakeland and Clark’s Shoes. And then there was Damart – remember Damart?

She also lives in Brighton, but we try not to hold that against her.
